For 20+ years, Janet has been a cornerstone in Nashville's business community, building an impressive career in the recruiting and staffing industry. However, by 2018, Janet found herself frustrated with the traditional, outdated model of recruiting firms, which seemed overly fixated on job requisitions, candidates, and revenues.
Knowing there had to be a better way, Janet tried a different approach. She examined the whole recruitment process through the client's eyes. By blending this viewpoint with the latest market and employment trends, she launched JSMAssociates. It's all about being a real asset to clients rather than an unnecessary drain on their resources, which, let's face it, is how many recruiting firms operate. At JSMAssociates, puts clients first, offering custom solutions that go beyond recruitment to include talent retention and engagement.
Janet's impact extends beyond her business. She's an active member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and was honored to be selected for the 2023 Leadership Connect Cohort. Her passion for community service is reflected in her role as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Youth Courts. She's held key positions with the Middle Tennessee Society of Human Resource Managers and the Healthcare Financial Managers Association. She is also a founding member of the Nashville Association of Sales Professionals (NASP). Nichole joined JSMAssociates as a Talent Solutions Advisor in August of 2022. She is a SHRM certified professional who is passionate about attracting, engaging, and retaining people in the workplace. Working with professionals in small businesses, non-profit and corporate environments, Nichole has built solid relationships and gained invaluable experiences in understanding the nuances and complexities of varying work cultures and has successfully built HR Departments from the ground up.
